TULSA, OKLAHOMA LIFESTYLE NEWBORN | QUEST

Newborns are precious! Normally I try to photograph them younger so the sleep more but Quest rocked his session and was so curious as to what was going on around him. I love this stage and chose to shoot lifestyle newborns rather then studio newborns because (1) as new mothers the last thing we want to do is try to go out with our babies, (2) This is where you baby is most comfortable, (3) because these newborn photos are more then just your baby.

While Quest was the focus of the newborn session we were able to get plenty of family shots, and also some great keepsake pictures of his nursery for the baby book. As parents you spend nine months planning for your babies arrival and I think it is important to capture all the things that came from that planning as well as your precious little one.

We also were able to incorporate different parts of the home. We started in the master bedroom where new parents spend a good chunk of time, moved to the living room for a background change, shot some intimate breastfeeding pictures in the nursery, and even hung outside for a short time.

Your home is such a great place to shoot your newborn session. It’s where your will grow and learn as your baby grows and create hundreds of memories together. So why not start creating memories at home with your baby’s newborn session.
